I got a peek of the place last week and was excited to check it out! It was a super cold night, but once the music started no one cared. DJ was awesome and the other guests were so much fun. Great place to meet people or just have fun singing silly songs. Good group of people who just love to sing (good or bad). I will definitely be back!

Tips: karaoke officially starts at 10pm, but they'll let you start singing before the DJ arrives. I think Wednesday are steak night? Either way, loved the place!

This place is all around a great place to hangout. The crowd is warm, drinks are great, and they actually have some good food options. Most karaoke places only have one of these 3 characteristics.  

I myself am not a great singer, and people usually cheer for me because they want me to get off the stage... Having said that, I appreciate the steak night, the flat screens that sometimes play sports, and the entertaining DJ.

Long over due review .... I love glitter... I frequent glitter every week because it's a great escape from work ... they have all the songs my little heart can desire. They are fair with rotation and even though everyone knows me when it's packed I only get a couple songs in and have to wait as well, part of the karaoke experience is hearing other people sing their favorites too.

Great atmosphere, feels like a neighborhood fav dive but with bomb ass Korean popcorn, steak nights, and huge food menu opened till about 1am. Everyone at Glitter is legit.

Steak night every Wednesday and I have to say they have the best steaks! The owners are super friendly and you will see them singing on stage too!

It's a very mixed crowd and everyone is friendly. Drinks are strong and the waitresses are very attentive and sweet! If you haven't been here it's a must!

The awesomest karaoke bar in houston! The whole staff is great and friendly. Good song selection and great singers.

They have days where top chefs of Houston come and do a pop up. Also steak nights and their own bbq pop ups which is to die for. Always a blast when we come out, thanks guys!

The KJ, RICO, is going to be the reason that I become a regular here. He's absolutely hilarious, isn't afraid to sing with you, and definitely enriches your karaoke experience.

We were going to Spotlight Karaoke when we spotted this place across the street. Spotlight had a $10 cover charge for "us" I'm assuming because I've never been asked for a cover at either of their locations. So... we checked out "glitter" it was a BLAST!

We got to sing multiple songs with a really fun crowd! The drinks were reasonably priced and we had a really fun time! The bartender and DJ were so cool and down to earth! I'm never going to Spotlight again. Glitter is my new go to spot for karaoke!! You should check it out!!!

Celebrated a friend's birthday here, and even though we didn't have a private room, eventually we felt like the whole place turned into one big party.

I liked that this karaoke bar is small and a bit more intimate. Even though we were strangers sitting at different tables, by the end of the night, we were all drunk singing and dancing together.

I heard everything form Rick James, to Backstreet Boys, to Journey. Someone even sang Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas" - it was February, LOL.

Had to bring my parents that came in from New York to taste the steak here. They loved it! Glitter is a must whenever anyone comes from out of town and it's a must when we are craving great steaks and beautiful people.

Everyone from Terry to Jonathan to the waitress is on point, very caring and accommodating. They moved us closer to the heater because my mom was a bit under the weather and then they sent a hot black tea for additional comfort! I love Glitter and all that work here. A definite place to visit when in Houston! Thanks Glitter! You know I'll be back...

Let me first start off by saying I in no way am a regular. Unfortunately it's not as often as it used to be that I can get out of the house. With that being said the times I do manage to stumble into glitter I've always had a great time.

From the awesome guy at the door to the awesome guys behind the bar, this place knows how to make you feel at home. The song selection is excellent and the crowd there is usually really cool and doesn't make you feel like you are on The Voice.
If your looking for a place that is not pretentious in midtown and just willing to let you rip on the mic, this is your spot.
